Richard Galliano, Anniversary Concert Richard Galliano (accordeon) Richard Galliano has enchanted stages all over the world for fifty years. Accordionist, bandoneonist, composer, Richard Galliano, multifaceted musician, tireless worker always in search of new inspiration, tirelessly rewrites the history of the accordion. This is how he invents the concept of 'New Musette', revealing to the musical world the unprecedented and daring image of a revived accordion, between waltzes musettes, jazz and tango, blues and Brazilian music. The meetings with Chet Baker, Charlie Haden, Ron Carter, Michel Portal and so many others confirm his musical eclecticism. But Richard Galliano does not stop there. Passionate about classical music from an early age, he happily explores and interprets the works of Vivaldi, Mozart and Bach; in constant search of harmony and musicality, he even broadens his repertoire to film music by adapting the work of Nino Rota. He is also the only accordionist who records for the prestigious German record label Deutsche Grammophon. During this accordion recital, given on the occasion of this anniversary, he will perform works by Debussy, Satie, Chopin, Granados, Michel Legrand, Astor Piazzolla and of course, his own compositions. Jokers Vincent Peirani: accordion, accordina Federico Casagrande: guitar Ziv Ravitz: drums After many collaborations in duo (with Émile Parisien, Michel Portal, Michael Wollny, François Salque) or within his quintet, Living Being, Vincent Peirani wanted to embark on another form of orchestration, that of the trio. With the Italian guitarist Federico Casagrande, who has been living in Paris for many years, and Ziv Ravitz, an Israeli drummer who lives in New York, he forms a hybrid trio, guitar, drums, accordion, in which each musician can take the place of another, to become, by turns, a soloist, a rhythmist, a colourist, and so on. This cosmopolitan formula explores all kinds of music: enigmatic, oneiric, electronic, explosive, colourful, even silent. Everything is permitted and left to the free will of each of the three protagonists. Like the Joker - not so much the fictional super-villain of American comic books as the playing card found in most card decks (the Joker can replace any other card and also be the highest trump) - all three of them have an equal and at the same time complementary role, and they are sometimes in opposition, unpredictable... Ghost Light John Neumeier (Choreography) Franz Schubert (Music) Hamburg Ballet David Fray, piano Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, 2020 TV director, Myriam Hoyer A Ghost Light - a single lamp that illuminates the stage when rehearsals or performances are finished - is part of a long theatrical tradition. Legend says that originally, the night light was for the ghosts of former artists so that they may cavort throughout the night and not disturb or disrupt current performances! At this very moment, because of the pandemic, countless stages, particularly in America, are illuminated by Ghost Lights. The Hamburg Ballet was one of the first ballet companies internationally to return to its studios after the first lockdown. Observing a strict hygiene concept, John Neumeier created 'Ghost Light', a new full-length ballet, for his entire ensemble of 55 dancers. The ballet 'Ghost Light' deals with isolation and the feelings and fantasies an empty stage may evoke. Developed in fragments using small groups of dancers and under the constraints imposed by Covid-19, the choreography reflects situations, fears, relationships, memories and emotions experienced during the pandemic. John Neumeier dedicates this work to his dancers. For this recording, the solo piano music is performed by the star pianist David Fray whose Franz Schubert recordings inspired the choreographer.

Mezzo to francuska stacja telewizyjna skupiająca się na światowej muzyce klasycznej, jazzie i tańcu. Promowana hasłem „Muzyka dla Twoich oczu”, łączy w sobie wrażenia płynące z doskonałego brzmienia i oglądanych występów. Mezzo przenosi widzów do najbardziej prestiżowych sal koncertowych, na deski scen operowych i baletowych oraz w świat znakomitych festiwali muzycznych. W ramówce kanału znajdują się zarówno krótkie klipy, jak i pełnometrażowe przedstawienia prezentujące twórczość legendarnych artystów i nowo odkrytych talentów. Pasmo uzupełniane jest muzycznymi programami i filmami dokumentalnymi. Telewizja Mezzo nadaje swój program przez całą dobę, siedem dni w tygodniu.
Historia telewizji Mezzo
Telewizja Mezzo została założona w 1992 roku przez francuską publiczną grupę mediową France Télévisions. Do roku 1998 nosiła nazwę France Supervision. W 2001 roku Mezzo połączyła się z francuskim kanałem muzycznym Muzzik, zachowując swoją nazwę. Logo stacji składa się z czerwonego napisu „mezzo” ze stylizowaną literą „m”. Siostrzaną stacją telewizji Mezzo jest Mezzo Live HD – kanał nadawany od kwietnia 2010 roku.
Oficjalna siedziba stacji znajduje się w Paryżu we Francji. Obecnym właścicielem jest francuska telewizja publiczna oraz francuska spółka mediowa Grupa Canal+. Aktualnie stacja dociera aż do blisko 60 milionowej widowni i jest dostępna w ponad 80 krajach na całym świecie – w tym w krajach Skandynawskich, w Portugalii, Rosji czy w Polsce.
Od samego początku telewizja Mezzo poświęcona była promocji muzyki klasycznej, jazzu i tańca wśród szerszej widowni. Zamysłem było dotarcie nie tylko do zaprawionych melomanów, ale także osób rozpoczynających przygodę z muzyką poważną. Oferta kanału składa się z programów w różnym formacie. Repertuar obejmuje różne gatunki i formy sztuki klasycznej – m.in. operę, balet, koncerty symfoniczne, jazzowe czy recitalie. Krótko- i pełnometrażowe występy nadawane są w blokach. Przeplatane są programem muzycznym „ InterMezzo ”.
