LA TÍPICA MELINGO Recorded at the Nouveau Théâtre de Montreuil, April 13th, 2022 The iconoclast Melingo revisits his cursed tangos with a large orchestra typical of the balls of the 40s in Buenos Aires. He is one of the most fascinating artists of the Argentinean scene. Singer and actor with a hoarse voice, Melingo oscillates on stage between Charlie Chaplin and Tom Waits, and reinvests since a long time the field of the tango, that of the underworld and the bad boys, with sharpened texts, that he propels in the current events. 'My role, as an artist, is to put in poetry and in music the forgotten of the society'. He returns to Banlieues Bleues with the Orquesta Típica, directed by Maestro Juan Pablo Gallardo, who has arranged the music of the Maestro by reproducing, with a very feminized team, the historical format of the orchestras that made the whole of Buenos Aires dance in the 1940s. Electronic Vibrations - A sound changes the world Whether techno or hip-hop - electronic music is nowadays the driving force of pop culture. We have almost forgotten that its origins lie in the WDR's electronic studio, which made Cologne to one of the centres of the avant-garde during the post-war years. This is the story of how a room full of strange devices would become a cabinet of curiosities, the vibrations of which sent the whole world in a state of ecstasy. From the beginnings directly after the Second World War in Paris with Pierre Schaeffer's 'musique concrete', the film focuses on Stockhausen and goes on to Kraftwerk, from Jean-Michel Jarre and the IRCAM studio right up to Detroit to the beginnings of techno. The life I love - The pianist Menahem Pressler The music world has known Menahem Pressler for more than half a century and mainly for his work with the famous Beaux Arts Trio. He was the heart of this ensemble and when in 2008 the trio decided to separate, it was not the end for Menahem Pressler's career - in fact it was the start of a most remarkable and successful path as a soloist and in 2013, the 90-year-old grand seigneur of the piano gave his long overdue debut with the Berliner Philharmoniker. In 'The life I love - the pianist Menahem Pressler', from talks with Pressler over excerpts from one of his Master Classes, to interviews with artists like Daniel Harding, Quatuor Ébene, Leonidas Kavakos or Daniel Hope, we will gain deep insights into the life of this enchantingly 'venerable prodigy'. Historia telewizji Mezzo
Telewizja Mezzo została założona w 1992 roku przez francuską publiczną grupę mediową France Télévisions. Do roku 1998 nosiła nazwę France Supervision. W 2001 roku Mezzo połączyła się z francuskim kanałem muzycznym Muzzik, zachowując swoją nazwę. Logo stacji składa się z czerwonego napisu „mezzo” ze stylizowaną literą „m”. Siostrzaną stacją telewizji Mezzo jest Mezzo Live HD – kanał nadawany od kwietnia 2010 roku.
Oficjalna siedziba stacji znajduje się w Paryżu we Francji. Obecnym właścicielem jest francuska telewizja publiczna oraz francuska spółka mediowa Grupa Canal+. Aktualnie stacja dociera aż do blisko 60 milionowej widowni i jest dostępna w ponad 80 krajach na całym świecie – w tym w krajach Skandynawskich, w Portugalii, Rosji czy w Polsce.
Od samego początku telewizja Mezzo poświęcona była promocji muzyki klasycznej, jazzu i tańca wśród szerszej widowni. Zamysłem było dotarcie nie tylko do zaprawionych melomanów, ale także osób rozpoczynających przygodę z muzyką poważną. Oferta kanału składa się z programów w różnym formacie. Repertuar obejmuje różne gatunki i formy sztuki klasycznej – m.in. operę, balet, koncerty symfoniczne, jazzowe czy recitalie. Krótko- i pełnometrażowe występy nadawane są w blokach.
