Con Brio Ziek McCarter, vocal Brendan Liu, trumpet Marcus Stephens, saxopone Benjamin Andrews, guitar Patrick Glynn, keyboard Jonathan Kirchner, bass Andrew Laubacher, percussion Seven musicians formed Con Brio in 2003 with the same passion for the Bay Area's signature funk and psychedelic soul. San Francisco is where Sly and The Family Stone, Tower Of Power, The Headhunters and Darondo flourished. Con Brio produced their first EP, Kiss The Sun, in 2015 and are already famous on the West Coast for their electric concerts and Ziek McCarter's velvety vocals. After touring the US and Europe alongside veterans Galactic and Fishbone, the Californians headed to the studio to put their buzzing live energy on record in 2016. The result is called Paradise, an album in which 'We tried to create a narrative arc in the same way as we link tracks when we play live,' says McCarter. Lady Quartet Rhoda Scott (organ), Airelle Besson (trumpet), Lisa Cat-Berro (saxophone alto), Géraldine Laurent (saxophone alto) Sophie Alour (Saxophone tenor) Julie Saury (drums) Special guest Bernard Purdie (drums) Since 2004, the organist Rhoda Scott has been at the helm (sparked by an idea from Jazz Vienne) of the torrid and well-named Lady Quartet, in the company of her Amazons Lisa Cat-Berro, Julie Saury and Sophie Alour. As euphoric and punchy as her young companions in the heat of the action, Rhoda Scott is one of the few still to use the pedals on her Hammond organ. Hence her nickname, 'the barefoot organist' (or 'the absolute toe' in the words of Luigi Trussardi!). After helping to raise the temperature in French jazz venues for the past 50 years, Lady Scott will be celebrating her eightieth birthday this year. She'll be blowing out the boogie candles and setting the gospel cake and soulful chorus on fire. The organist is the daughter of a travelling pastor from New Jersey and grew up in religious communities. She graduated with a master's degree from the Manhattan School of Music and set off for France to complete her studies with Nadia Boulanger. Back in New York, she began by playing with Count Basie. But then she decided to try her luck in Paris, where she arrived right in the month of May 1968. Featuring original compositions and covers ranging from Trenet to Wayne Shorter, 'We Free Queens' (2017), with the title proudly adapted from 'We Free Kings' by Roland Kirk, was recorded live. For Vienne a Lady All-Stars is billed, with Airelle Besson (trumpet), Géraldine Laurent (tenor saxophone) and Anne Pacéo (drums), plus the drummer Bernard Purdie. In 2013, he launched his seventh album Tierra, surrounded by outstanding musicians, such as the members of Dire Straits and the British Celtic music group Capercaillie. Vicente Amigo, considered one of the most remarkable and virtuous performers of his generation, began a tireless quest for the aesthetic and sonic possibilities of the flamenco guitar. Performing on all stages of the world with a majestic and impeccable technique, his music captures all audiences. His musicians, singers and dancers support him in a spectacular flamenco show. From his first disc De mi corazon al aire in 1991 (recognized by the 'Icaro' and 'El Ojo Critico' awards) until the next two, Vivencias Imaginadas (1995) and Poeta (1997), the awards have followed one another, as opportunities to play with great musicians such as John Mc Laughlin, David Bowie, Stanley Jordan, Milton Nascimiento, Joao Bosco, Phil Manzanera, Paco de Lucia, Camaron de la Isla, among others. In 1991, Vicente Amigo also shared with Paco de Lucia the flamenco performance at the international festival 'Legends of the Guitar'. His performances all over the world are always a great success in front of an audience that follows him, fascinated by his incredible talent and by his daring research that he carries out with an always surprising naturalness.

Mezzo to francuska stacja telewizyjna skupiająca się na światowej muzyce klasycznej, jazzie i tańcu. Promowana hasłem „Muzyka dla Twoich oczu”, łączy w sobie wrażenia płynące z doskonałego brzmienia i oglądanych występów. Mezzo przenosi widzów do najbardziej prestiżowych sal koncertowych, na deski scen operowych i baletowych oraz w świat znakomitych festiwali muzycznych. W ramówce kanału znajdują się zarówno krótkie klipy, jak i pełnometrażowe przedstawienia prezentujące twórczość legendarnych artystów i nowo odkrytych talentów. Historia telewizji Mezzo
Telewizja Mezzo została założona w 1992 roku przez francuską publiczną grupę mediową France Télévisions. Do roku 1998 nosiła nazwę France Supervision. W 2001 roku Mezzo połączyła się z francuskim kanałem muzycznym Muzzik, zachowując swoją nazwę. Logo stacji składa się z czerwonego napisu „mezzo” ze stylizowaną literą „m”. Siostrzaną stacją telewizji Mezzo jest Mezzo Live HD – kanał nadawany od kwietnia 2010 roku.
Oficjalna siedziba stacji znajduje się w Paryżu we Francji. Obecnym właścicielem jest francuska telewizja publiczna oraz francuska spółka mediowa Grupa Canal+. Aktualnie stacja dociera aż do blisko 60 milionowej widowni i jest dostępna w ponad 80 krajach na całym świecie – w tym w krajach Skandynawskich, w Portugalii, Rosji czy w Polsce.
Od samego początku telewizja Mezzo poświęcona była promocji muzyki klasycznej, jazzu i tańca wśród szerszej widowni. Zamysłem było dotarcie nie tylko do zaprawionych melomanów, ale także osób rozpoczynających przygodę z muzyką poważną. Oferta kanału składa się z programów w różnym formacie. Repertuar obejmuje różne gatunki i formy sztuki klasycznej – m.in. operę, balet, koncerty symfoniczne, jazzowe czy recitalie. Krótko- i pełnometrażowe występy nadawane są w blokach. Przeplatane są programem muzycznym „ InterMezzo ”.
